In 2011 Jake Bramante became the first person to hike all the trails in Glacier National Park in one year. To help document this accomplishment, Jake recorded many (if not all) of his hikes on video. One of the last hikes that season was to Grinnell Glacier. The video below contains some awesome footage of the trail, as well as some amazing wildlife shots. What makes this video stand out is the battle he caught between two bull moose (around the 3:30 mark):

Jake Bramante Offers Favorite Glacier Park Hikes in Backpacker Magazine
Ultra-hiker Jake Bramante, who last year became the first person to hike every trail within Glacier National Park in one year, recently offered Backpacker Magazine some of his favorite hikes within the park. In the June issue of the magazine, Backpacker asked rangers, guidebook writers, outfitters, and ultra-hikers for their favorite routes within some of the best hiking destinations in the Lower 48. For each location they provide a favorite day hike, a weekend backpacking trip, and an epic week-long trek.
Jake's favorite day hike in Glacier is the Pitamakan Pass / Dawson Pass loop hike in the Two Medicine area.
His weekend loop travels over Redgap Pass and through Ptarmigan Tunnel.
His week-long recommendation is a 51-mile odyssey that he calls the Northern Circle, which includes Stoney Indian Pass, the Mokowanis Valley, Fifty Mountain and Swiftcurrent Pass.
You can read his descriptions for each of these hikes by clicking here.
The feature article also includes hiking recommendations for Yellowstone Park, as well as a few others locales you may have heard of at some point.

Taking the Hike 734 Presentation on the Road
This past October, 34-year-old Montana resident Jake Bramante became the first person to hike every mile of every trail within Glacier National Park - a total of 734 miles - in only one year!
Armchair adventurers now have opportunity to hear first hand what it's like to accomplish such an ambitious feat. Next month Jake will be recounting his adventure through pictures and video at the O’Shaughnessy Center in Whitefish, and the University of Montana in Missoula.
Armed with a Canon 7D and bear spray, Bramante captured sweeping panoramas, birds, alpine lakes, elk, grizzlies and moose fighting. Discover how he planned the adventure and executed his goal over 5 months with 89 total hiking days, 1,200 miles of actual hiking, and three pairs of shoes.
On March 1st he will be at the O’Shaughnessy Center in Whitefish at 7 p.m. This will also be a fundraiser for the Glacier National Park Fund. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at door (if not sold out).
On Wednesday, February 15th, at 7:30 p.m. he will at the University of Montana in Missoula (in CHCB 131). This event is free.

On Saturday, October 15th, 34-year-old Montana resident Jake Bramante became the first person to hike every mile of every trail within Glacier National Park - a total of 734 miles - in one year!
To complete his goal, Jake actually had to hike a total of 1,000 miles to cover all 734 miles of designated trails in the park.
Here's a video of him on his last hike as he crosses the finish line at the Lincoln Lake Trailhead in the Lake McDonald area:
You can read more about his adventure on his blog.
